Hi, I'm
Nimarta Verma.
Founder • StorySharing™
“I wake up and the dread hits me before I even open my eyes…”
My chest is tight. My mind is already racing. I have the life of my dreams—or so I thought.
“New house. Baby. Business I built.”
But I couldn’t shake the feeling of… if this is the life of my dreams then
why am I so f*ckin miserable?
Depression. Anxiety.
The year of endings.
A diagnosis of depression and anxiety later, that year would become the year of endings. Client contracts. Work and partnerships that no longer served me. Friendships that were draining. The business as it currently was. Suffice to say I burned it all to the ground without knowing what was to come.
I BURNED IT ALL TO THE GROUND. 🔥
And... StorySharing™ emerged out of the ashes.
The one true part of me that I still loved: sharing stories.
I did it organically, sharing my own story of loss and depression.
“Would you coach me how to share stories like you?”
came a request from a stranger. I had never considered it as a career path. But in that moment I backed that little voice, and StorySharing™ was born.
Last year I stood on stage in New York accepting two Stevie awards. And it was surreal. Because the woman who burned everything down wouldn’t have believed this was possible. She was just trying to survive. To find what was true to her.
For me, these awards represent what’s possible when you trust that voice inside you – even when it means burning it all down. Because sometimes that’s how you find what’s unbreakable.

The Methodology
StorySharing™ is not storytelling.
It is not a communication technique.
It is a leadership development practice built on the neuroscience of human connection.
When you share an authentic story, listeners’ brains mirror yours.
This creates a level of trust that no team-building exercise or engagement survey can manufacture.
It is the practice
of being genuinely,
strategically human.
What I Do Now
I work with leaders, teams, and individuals who are ready to close the gap between who they are and how they show up.
Sometimes that is a senior leader wanting to rebuild trust with their team after a difficult period. Sometimes it is an individual at a career crossroads who knows their credentials don’t fully capture who they are. Sometimes it is an organisation that has invested in culture and is still wondering why their people feel disconnected…

The Question: What story are you sitting on, and what becomes possible when you finally share it?
My Husband,
Anand
My rock.
The steady pair of hands with an unfaltering belief in me. None of this would be possible without him.
My Mum,
Grace
She went into early retirement to care for Elleana. She keeps us well fed and makes daily healthy shakes for us.
I couldn’t be more grateful.
My Mother-in-law,
Sarita
She made the move up the coast to be near us, cares for Elleana, and will share my work with absolutely anyone who’ll listen.
My Daughter,
Elleana
Almost four. A master negotiator with a wicked sense of humour and a mind (and voice) entirely her own. I’m in awe of her, and she’s who I’m doing all of this for.
My Fur Babies,
Bailey & Muddy
Bailey runs in with a ball, whining and willing me to play. Muddy jumps into my lap on a bad day. Together they remind me to pause and enjoy the moment.
The people who make all of this possible.
I want you to know these people exist. Because none of what I do happens in isolation.
The people behind the scenes.
Good work doesn't happen alone. These are the people I trust with the work that matters most.
Rose
Systems manager
Rose is a systems queen who shows up to everything with a smile and an unshakeable belief that anything can be done. She holds the operational backbone of this business with quiet precision, and has the rare ability to make the impossible feel entirely manageable.
Rhi
Design & Content Manager
Rhi takes what lives in my head and makes it look like it always belonged on a page. She holds the visual identity of this brand with genuine care, and has the rare ability to translate feeling into design without losing either.
Let's Talk.
Most people I work with don’t arrive knowing their story. They arrive with a feeling that something important is going untold.
If that sounds familiar..
